Two-Year-Old Runaway Wannabe

The other day Miriam was very angry with me because I wouldn't let her wander the house with her toothbrush in her mouth. I know, I spoil all of my kids' fun. After we put the toothbrush back she stomped over to the front door, and in her sternest voice said, "Bye, Mom. Wanna go Sampa's [Grandpa's] house. Bye!" Aren't kids usually older when they first threaten to run away? Miriam has definitely learned at an early age that it's often more fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

You never have to guess how Miriam feels about something, do you? Funny girl. :)

You're lucky to have grandparents so close. Miriam's a hoot!
