It's Party Time with the Sawyers

Kenny's mom is in town right now ("in town" defined as "anywhere in the state of Utah"), which is always a good excuse to get the Sawyer clan together (at least everyone living in Utah, meaning four siblings, a few spouses, and a fair number of nieces and nephews). Last Saturday Kenny's Aunt Barbara volunteered to have us all over to her house up in Salt Lake City for dinner and a pool party. It was a little overcast and apparently the water was extremely cold, but Kenny decided it was worth chancing hypothermia and he took Adriana swimming.

Miriam is not a big fan of any water sport. She was content to stay out of the water with Grandma Jeanne.

One of the best parts of Aunt Barbara's house is her basement. It's a kid's paradise, including the "big kids." The drum set saw a lot of use that day:

These are some of my new favorite pictures of Adriana. Kenny especially loves the picture with the Hulk hands. Isn't she fierce? In the second picture she was saying, "Feel the power!"

It was a fun afternoon and evening. Thanks to Aunt Barbara for letting us all take over her house for a few hours. We had a good time!
