Who Knew Rice Cereal Could Be So Liberating?

We started Darren on solid food this week. This boy loves to eat. We can't get the spoon to his mouth fast enough and he gets excited every time he sees his high chair. Here are a few pictures of his first experience with rice cereal.
Now that Darren is not completely dependent on me for eating, for the first time in six months I was able to go sans baby to events like Enrichment (er, the Relief Society quarterly meeting formerly known as Enrichment, formerly known as Homemaking....) and Adriana's kindergarten field trip (post to follow soon) this week. Such freedom! Oh, the places I can go and things I can now do!
