Can you tell how excited (a.k.a. impatient) we are to go inside?
The preshow was a lot of fun. We were able to go down on the floor and meet some of the performers, see some animals (including a painting elephant that was pretty cool), and be there for some short acts/performances. Adriana thought that the clown acts of the preshow were absolutely hilarious. Here's the happy family during the preshow.
Clown noses and silly hats were a hit, and don't forget the cotton candy!
Miriam sat and stared with huge eyes, while Adriana spent most of the show pointing and excitedly telling us how amazing everything was ("Did you see that! Look what he's doing! How do they do that?").
Darren, however, was not a fan of all of the loud noises and lights. Ideally I would have left him with a babysitter, but he still REFUSES to take a bottle, and I really wanted to go with the family. That was one of the best things about having free tickets. I didn't feel too bad leaving a little early once Darren had reached his limit. We were able to beat the crowds leaving, too. The other good thing about having free tickets? You don't wince quite as much when you realize that you just spent $30 on parking and cotton candy (we passed on the $10 snow cones). Yikes!
